Our goal is to future-proof your online business while developing solutions to increase your revenue, audience engagement and readership. These platform enhancements are available to you as part of ePublishing’s Software as a Service commitment to deliver tools and features that reflect industry best practices and respond to specific client requirements.
Part I is a summary of the improvements we’ve made to premium content and eCommerce capabilities. Part II, our next post, will describe how we’ve streamlined your workflow to add value to content with topic pages and semantic associations.
Part I:
Premium Directory Listing Management Improvements
We’ve redesigned the premium directory listing form to make it easier for your customers to manage their directory or buyers guide listing and for your staff to tailor that process:
We’ve also made it easier to browse listings: premium directory or buyers guide listings will now display the title and description of white papers and other downloads.
Enhanced Product Presentation on Store Home Page
We’ve added the ability to use taxonomy tags to control product presentation on the store home page: Present New or Most Popular Products in a featured area of the page. As always, customers can search the store, or browse by product category.
Detail Added to Purchase Confirmation E-Mail and Order Thank You Page
We’ve upgraded a critical step in the purchase process to improve user experience and streamline order troubleshooting by your customer service staff:
Classifieds Enhancements
Sub-Categories: Now you can present job postings or classified listings with an additional level of detail to support browsing by site visitors. For example, you can list job postings by department and business services by type. Customers wishing to add a classified listing will be able to select from the sub-category level when using the Add Classified Form.
Classified Presentation: You can now prevent specific classified listings from appearing on your Home Page, by simply applying the new taxonomy term “Do Not Show on Home Page.” Classifieds not appearing on the Home Page will still appear on the classified category pages.
Classified Submission Form: You can now insert instructions or rules that apply to image uploads to provide additional assistance to customers using the Classified Submission Form.
Stay Tuned! Next week, we'll share Part II.
