Version 6.6 includes several additional enhancements to add value to web content management capabilities:
Image Gallery
Version 6.6 now supports multiple image galleries and associated resources. Using WYSIWYG tools, editors and marketers can assemble images and associated descriptions for each gallery. Images can be set to scroll automatically and readers can view full-size images by scrolling over thumbnails. Readers can post and view comments for each gallery.
Editorial efficiencies are built in, as images and thumbnails can be edited and stored contextually in the platform’s Media Manager and semantic tagging system.
Media Manager
Manage galleries more efficiently with:
- Automated image batch uploads to use separately or in galleries; and
- Automatically created thumbnails sized for your site.
Topic Pages
Topic pages now include a directories section to relate listings to articles, blogs, products and events via semantic tagging. Existing and new directories topic pages make it very easy for readers to find a wide variety of related resources by bringing associated content together in one place.
Newsletter Tool
An added security step in the Newsletter Tool’s workflow prevents newsletters from being sent until absolute ready, tested and approved.
Reader Experience
Version 6.6 streamlines purchase, registration and comment sequences by supporting pre-populated forms for registered users who are logged in. Name and contact information are automatically entered into required forms, reducing the steps to purchase or interact with other readers.
